Kingstone Parish Council

Kingstone Parish Council and COVID-19

Following the announcement on Monday 23rd March, Kingstone Parish Council has closed the tennis and MUGA courts. This closure will remain in force until the government advice changes.

While the parish council cannot physically close the general play area, visitors are reminded of the government rules around the use of playgrounds and are asked to respect these in an effort to reduce the spread of COVID-19.

Parishioners are also reminded of the general advice surrounding social distancing and are asked to keep 2 metres apart from those that are not members of their own household.

Kingstone Parish Council is working with and providing grants to local groups to ensure that vulnerable members of the parish and those self-isolating are able to access support.

Stay at home

Only go outside for food, health reasons or work (but only if you cannot work from home)
If you go out, stay 2 metres (6ft) away from other people at all times
Wash your hands as soon as you get home

Do not meet others, even friends or family.
You can spread the virus even if you don’t have symptoms.
